Thousands of people from all over the world suffer from acne, the skin disorder that affecting 70 to 95% teenagers during puberty period. Sadly to say this skin disorder not only affecting teenagers but also adults between the age of 20 to 50. Imagine if you suffer this skin disorder endlessly until your adult life. It cost you a lot from swollen and sore facial skin, feeling unhappy, gross, depress, less confidence and spending lots of money for skin care product and treatment.

Acne is a skin problem that affects most people during puberty when the hormonal changes occur. A male hormone called Testosterone in both men and women, and insulin-like growth factor are the two hormones most closely linked to acne. Testosterone stimulates the sebaceous glands of the skin to enlarge and produce oil called sebum. Too much sebum and dead skin cells often form a plug, block the pores and provide a breeding place for bacteria causing redness, swelling and bulges out from the skin.

Other factor that cause acne indirectly includes: dust, air pollution, stress, blood impurities, healthy diets, sleep deprivation, organ malfunction, lack of exercise and of course daily skin care habit.

The place where you live might also responsible factor that affecting your skin. When you live in a sub-tropic area or in a four season country, your skin might look better than those who live in a dessert or tropical region.

People who live in a dusty and highly polluted air region tend to suffer moreacne as if you don’t clean your face often, a heap of dirty air particles flying around the air and settling on the skin.

Moreover, dust and air pollution also bring the bacteria. Whenever the pores are clogged with sebum (excess oil) and dead skin cells, bacteria seize the chance and start harvesting in the sebaceous follicle. Before long, the follicle turns into a blackhead or whitehead (in mild cases), or even into pustules or papules (in severe forms of acne).

If you know the trick, having a great skin does not require a lot of time and money. Start with the basic daily skin care routine such as washing your face, hair and body everyday. Choose the right product that matches your skin type.

Most acne-prone skin type is categorized under an oily or mixed skin type. For this type of skin choose a mild liquid soap or for women a cleansing milk with no alcohol and fragrance content. The alcohol and fragrance might irritate your skin and makes your acne worse.

Try using a natural aromatherapy skin care products such as Eucalyptus shampoo, Eucalyptus shower or body gel and/or Eucalyptus body milk if your skin became so dry especially during winter time.

Apply a collagen mask at least twice a week or if you are experiencing severe acne do it three times a week. Make sure that you wash your face first prior applying the mask and set aside the collagen. Don’t waste the collagen as you can apply them to your breast (for women) to keep it firm and soft and other part of the body that tends to dry easily such as your elbow or your heel. The pimples will be dried off and left no scar on the skin, and you will also having a firm and healthy glowing skin.

You can also use a mild soft scrub lotion to clean all the dead skin that might accumulated on the surface of your skin at least once a week. This step is not recommended if you are having severe acne such as pustules or papules as the scrubbing might irritate your skin more and causing more breakouts. Do the scrubbing only when your skin is neither red nor swollen to get rid off your dead skin cells and the deep scar left by the acne.

There is a natural product out there (ESTEBEL) that works wonder and can help you clean your pimple/acne away from your face and body. Other than skin care products you can also do the detoxification program as recommended from one of the famous e-book: Chris Gibson acne free in 3 days. Though the title seemed to good to be true for those of us who suffers from severe acne and scars, however all the steps mentioned in these e-book make sense and easily to follow, at least within 3 days of practicing the steps you will see the difference on your skin.

Step by step guide to clean/scrub your face:

You actually barely touch the skin surface to take off excess oil and dead skin cell). If you push your hand too hard the skin will be irritated more and causing more acne Use a circular spiral movement upward from the middle of your chin to the lower part of the ear. Circular spiral movement upward from the tip of your lips to the middle part of the ear. Circular spiral movement upward from the tip of your nose to the temple. Circular spiral movement from middle of your forehead to the temple. Concentrate more on the area with acne (making sure you only cleaning it with a “Flying” finger motion)

An inward circular movement around your eyes An up and down movement on your nose

Circular spiral movement from middle of your forehead to the temple

An inward circular movement around your eyes An up and down movement on your nose

Take away the cleansing milk using a facial tissue downwardly without making any pressure on the skin surface Repeat the steps again until your facial tissue show no trace of make-up or dirt left on your skin Wash your face with a running water Pat it dry and let it dry naturally (avoid using towel, or if you need to use a fresh clean towel) Follow with a skin toner to get back your skin acidity

Note: The step will also make your skin wrinkle-free

Use a Facial scrub at least twice a week (not recommended for a  red and swollen skin or skin with pustules or papules. Wait until all the severe acne gone and you can start using the facial scrub

Step by step guide how to use the collagen mask for Acne-prone skin:

Clean your face accordingly (Follow the step by step guide to clean/scrub your face) Open the collagen mask Set aside the thick collagen from the mask, you can apply them onto the most dry skin part in your body such as heels, elbow or for women you can apply it to your buttock or breast for a smoother supple skin Put the mask onto your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes Cover your eyes with sliced cucumber After 15-20 minutes, take off the mask Clean your face with a running water Pat it dry and let it dry naturally (avoid using towel, or if you need to use a fresh clean towel) Follow with a skin toner to get back your skin acidity

Note: Use the collagen mask twice a week and your acne will dry off faster and be gone without leaving any scar.

Easily Irritated Skin? Skin Care For Sensitive Skin

August 22nd, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Education

Gakkenflex skin – sunny day
skin

Is your skin showing signs of redness and irritation after you’ve used a particular skin care product? If so, you probably have sensitive skin. Some symptoms of sensitive skin include: tightening or tingling of the skin, unseen signs of skin discomfort; overreaction of the skin to things like stress, shaving; and drying and recurring irritation of the skin. Certain skin care products aggravate these symptoms. So if you’re looking for tips on skin care for sensitive skin, read on.

If you have sensitive skin then perhaps it’s time you change your skin care routine. Read the label of your current skin care product. Does it have “hypoallergenic” or “for sensitive skins” written on the label? If not, dump it. Before purchasing any skin care products, you need to look out for labels that overtly mention the fact that it is safe for sensitive skin.

Read the ingredients list. Products that contain alcohol, chemicals, additives, and other synthetic ingredients may aggravate sensitive skin, so choose products that have natural organic ingredients like aloe. All natural or organic skin care products can be found just as easily as those containing alcohol, so it shouldn’t be a problem trying to find the right skin care product for sensitive skin in your local drugstores or department store cosmetics counter, or anywhere else that skin care products can be commonly found and purchased.

Now moving onto your skin care routine, it is advisable that you use a makeup remover before proceeding to wash your face. If you have sensitive skin, you should choose a makeup remover that is soap-free. Again, keeping the first point in mind, look out for products with labels such as “for sensitive skin” or “gentle on skin”. These would probably be the better choice for your sensitive skin, but should you have any doubts, clarify them with a knowledgeable sales assistant of the cosmetic department of the store.

Once you’ve purchased that new makeup remover, what you need to keep in mind is do not use a washcloth to apply it to your skin. This is because washcloths can be abrasive on your skin, especially on sensitive skins, and tends to irritate the skin. Use a soft cotton swab instead. Apart from washcloth, there are other abrasives that you should avoid, such as exfoliating scrubs with granules, no matter how tiny they might be. These granules can be too hard on sensitive skin, and you’ll risk irritating your skin more than exfoliating it. Consider a cleanser that contains salicylic acid instead to help exfoliate your pores.

It is important to protect your sensitive skin from sun damage, but some sunscreens aggravate sensitive skins so much that a lot of people decide to do away with sunscreen altogether. If you have especially sensitive skin, you should apply sunscreen daily to protect yourself from the sun, preferably with a minimum SPF of 15. Use a sunscreen that is a gel instead of an oil-based one, as it is less greasy. And to avoid skin irritation from sunscreens, use one that contains zinc or titanium dioxide as part of its ingredients, as these two are not absorbed into the skin unlike sunscreens that contain Parsol 1789, the chemical responsible for skin irritation in sensitive skins.

Skin care for sensitive skin is relatively easy these days, especially when you can find a lot of information on how to deal with the problem online. However to be on the safe side, be sure to consult your physician or dermatologist before trying out the advice you come across on the internet.

The Definition of Dry Skin

New Skins
skin

t is moisture that is no longer in your skin. The body produces different natural oils that keep the skin moist and soft. This helps to keep your skin from being less likely injured or dried out. When your skin is dry the amount of oils that your body produces has been reduced. Your skin is feeling dry, itchy and painful.

There are several reasons why the amount of oils in your body has been reduced. The most common is how you are taking care of your skin. You could be washing away the oils too often. Bathing in very hot water too often will also dry your skin out.

Weather conditions can also be the cause of dry skin. In the winter the wind, cold air and the lowered temperatures can cause your body to lose its natural oils. Dry air in your home can cause your skin to be dry. Medical conditions can also be blamed for dry skin.

Skin Care for Dry Skin

Moisturize the skin

Dry skin always lacks in moisture, and thereby crinkling the skin. In order to keep the skin smooth, its skin care dictates to apply a lot of moisturizer. You will observe that in a few hours or so, the moisturizer tends to disappear and your skin becomes dry again. To prevent this, you may like to use a little glycerin; just a few drops can make a huge difference in the locking in of moisture.

Nourishing the skin

The dry skin is always starving. This is why its skin care will have to include a good amount of rich nourishing night cream which will restore its health and keep it nourished. This is best applied at night because at night, the skin is free from any dust and other pollution particles, and it can absorb sufficient nutrition.

Dry Skin Problems

Our skin is highly fragile. Many triggers can cause your skin to develop certain skin conditions such as dry skin. Dry skin is one of the other most common skin conditions after acne. Sometimes known as winter itch, your skin can be especially dry, flaky and itchy. If the case is severe enough, you may even find your skin to crack or bleed.

There are many tried-and-tested advices from skin care experts. Here, we list a few tips on prevention, self-care techniques and prescription treatment options which you may want to consider. Remember, if you treat your dry skin earlier, the better the easier it is for your control and manage this dry skin problem.

Dry Skin Repair

Dry skin can be caused by external factors as well as our genes which may be attributed to hormones. But no matter how dry your skin gets, there is a dry skin repair treatment available that can help improve your skin.

Of course it is always be best to know what is causing the dry skin before you begin to treat it. Once you know what’s causing the dry skin you can try and avoid it. For instance if the cause is too much exposure to the sun you may protect yourself with an umbrella every time you go out of the house, and it would be best to use a moisturizer with sunscreen.

Depending on the dryness of your skin there are different skin repair treatments. There are ordinary moisturizers, intensive moisturizers and everything in between that can help you combat dry skin.

In addition to moisturizers, there are other products which you can use to make your skin look better. You can try to do your own research. It is best to do some readings and research so you’d be able to identify properly which product will work well for you.

5 Simple Steps to a Healthier Skin

August 21st, 2010 by admin | 25 Comments | Filed in Education

my hyperdoodle skins!
skin

A healthy skin is an important part of life, any one with pride in their appearance worries about their skin as it’s the most visable and the largest of the body’s organs.

Through my research in skin care and maintaining a healthy skin, I’m going to share with you the 5 ways of which I feel are the most important to maintain and improve the health and appearance of your skin.

KNOW YOUR SKIN

Make sure you are using the correct products for your skin type. There is a massive range of products out there and most are made for specific skin types. If you suffer a reaction from any product discontinue use.

If you are still confused speak to a professional and they will be able to point you in the right direction.

Don’t come to the assumption that this will be you skin type for the rest of your life. Your skin type can change through out you life for many reasons from stress through to illness. If you are still not sure what to use, use a natural based product for sensitive skin.
Its not only your skin type you need to be aware of. Its equally important to pay attention to your skin. If it is coming up in pimples, spots or blemishes, keep a mental note and try to figure out exactly what it is your skin is reacting to. If your skin is sensitive, it is most important to figure the triggers of what your skin reacting to and avoid it. It could also be the chocolate you ate last night which is causing pimples, It may be stress at work which is making your skin irritable. What ever it is if you can figure out exactly what it is you can take measures to reduce the occurrence.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT

Even though Fatty Salty and greasy foods are a direct threat to your skin a good balanced diet can do wonders for it. Your skin and your skin health is a balance between moisture, oils, vitamins and minerals so if you can replicate this in your diet you’ll be one step ahead.

Drink plenty of filtered water even through out winter.  During winter there is a higher level of airborne toxins and free radicals. As it’s not as hot most people don’t drink quarter the amount of water required During the summer most people don’t drink half the daily required amount. Filtered water is best dependant on where you live and the quality of the water. If there is a high chlorine content in you water supply this can cause skin problems to sensitive skins.
Drinking water is a vital aspect of beautiful skin it aids the retention of skin moisture and also helps detox the body of waste and toxins. Drinking 2-3 litres of water a day is the best way to revitalise dry, dull skin and will eventually lead firmer, smoother, more  youthful skin.
Eat a balanced diet using the healthy eating pyramid suggests. Keep saturated fats, salts, sugars, alcohols a minimum. They are all very low in nutritional value and help upset the balance of the skin.

Get your vitamins.

Vitamin A is excellent for stimulating skin repair. Some good sources of vitamin A are eggs, liver, milk, apricots, nectarines.

Vitamin C helps produce collagen and strengthen the skin. Vitamin C is present in most fresh fruits so eat plenty of blackcurrants, blueberries, broccoli, guava, kiwi fruits, oranges, apples, papaya, strawberries
Vitamin E helps maintain your bodies tissues and is important in the production of red blood cells. Vitamin E is commonly found in wholegrain foods leafy vegetables and nuts.
Essential Fatty Acids These are responsible healthy cell membranes which allow nutrients in but keep toxins out. Essential fatty acid also reduce the bodies production of inflammatory agents. Good sources of essential fatty acids are fish, walnuts, sunflower seeds, canola oil, avocado and leafy vegetables.
Also foods which contain sulphur, zinc, beta carotene, and iron are all excellent minerals for the skin.

HEALTHY MIND HEALTH BODY

Learn to relax as I have stated in your skin types       stress can have all sorts of effects on  they body       and the skin.

Stress will effect your glandular activity. It can activate an over production of serum and cortisol which will block you skins pores and reduce it’s ability to breath and repair its self.
Stress causes your adrenal gland to release adrenalin into the system.     When this hormone is released, it directs blood flow away from the skin and towards necessary muscles. This is a completely natural system as our body is subconsciously preparing to fight or run. Due to this your skin will be deprived flow of the essential nutrients it requires.
Stress can also cause nervousness and with our skin not feeling healthy and can lead our to fidget scratch and play with our skins imperfections resulting in a red irritated skin.

With this it is important we teach our selves to relax and be conscious of our stress. A lot of us these days are so used to stressful situation, we no longer even know when we are stressed.

By learning to relax  we will teach our body an alternative reaction to stress when it is present. It will allow us think and act more calmly, appropriately and reduce our anxieties.

EXCERCISE

Any amount of exercise can help your skin its beneficial in many ways and its an excellent measure for stress relief. Even taking a leisurely stroll will improve your circulation, this in turn helps your skin to breath and deliver oxygen and nutrients to your skin.

Your skin is attached to your muscles. During  exercise your muscles will becomes firmer making your skin appear firmer as well. Firmer Muscles = Firmer Skin.
Exercises helps your skin to breath and detox. It also helps your body to produce natural collagen which will help you skin look more supple.
Be sure to drink plenty of fresh water during and after exercising this will help your body rid you skin of unwanted toxins such as lactic acid and also keep the body hydrated.

A sauna is also an excellent way of cleansing your skin from unwanted toxin’s.

BE SUN SMART

I’m not trying to scare you all off and frighten you of going out doors I mean lets face it if you can enjoy the sun what can you enjoy. Infact it’s important for your skin to get some direct sun light as it aids in the absorption calcium. Our skin also has the ability to convert the suns ray into vitamin D which is an essential vitamin to maintain strong bones and may also be linked to preventing some diseases.

Though be aware  it is estimated that 80% of the damage which occurs to the skin is caused by UV Rays and 50% of this occurs before the age of 20. It’s always going to be harder to reverse the ageing process than to just take some simple precautions before it’s too late.
So be careful in the sun and Avoid Sun Beds they are not worth the money to look like an Australian Surfer for a week or so before it all peels off. While doing this you are Damaging your skin which is irreversible.
Over exposure to the sunlight over years makes the skin thinner and creates in the skin a appearance we link to ageing. Skin damage by the UV rays can lead to premature ageing, wrinkly, rough saggy, discoloured skin and skin cancer which in the US effects almost 50% of people and is the most common of all cancers.
If you can’t break your need for the overall best tan there are some excellent artificial options that also protect from harmful rays and moisturise your skin making it a much healthier.
Even in winter a sunblock should be worn everyday to protect your skin from the harmful UV rays around us so try and incorporate skin protection into your daily skin care programme. A sensible sun care program will not effect a healthy production of Vitamin D.

Thank you for reading I hope you receive some of the amazing benefits I have personally experienced throughout my own personal research.

Please give it time. Don’t be put off if you don’t see results straight away if. It may take up to 3-4 weeks before you start seeing some truely amazing results.

To start off with you may see an increase in spots and pimples (not to any serious degree). But again do not be put off. This is normal and especially if you have not been exercising for a while it’s more than likely just your body detoxing releasing toxins though the pores of your skin.

GOOD LUCK

Sagging Skin Problems Solved

August 21st, 2010 by admin | 25 Comments | Filed in Education

iGoatse ipod skin !
skin

Sagging skin, it’s the worst nightmare of any aging woman. Wrinkles, lines, crows feet and skin that just seems to hang. Is it just something that you have to put up with as you age, or is there a solution to sagging skin. Is there real help for sagging skin problems?

Lets have a look at what causes sagging skin, before we consider the best way to get help for sagging skin.

There are two essential components of our skin, collagen and elastin. Collagen, for example, is found right throughout our bodies and is a protein that if fibrous and tough. It is, in effect, the substance that helps hold our bodies together. And this is what it does for our skin too. It helps improve the firmness and elasticity of our skin.

Elastin is also responsible, in conjunction with collagen, for the strength of our skin, and in particular the elasticity of our skin. So as a youth, if we were to pinch our skin and pull it and release it, the skin would snap back into place. But without the effects of the collagen and elastin that were there when we were young it just doesn’t snap back quite like it used to.

And as we age our skin naturally loses collagen and elastin. That’s a result of a number of factors that all add up as we age. For example sun exposure, free radical damage and smoking can all help deplete our stores of collagen and elastin in our skin, and reduce the thickness of our skin.

And as our skin loses collagen and elastin it loses it’s firmness and elasticity, and the result is sagging and wrinkles, and lines and crows feet. We start to look our age, and we start looking for help for sagging skin like so many others, because we don’t like the look of the sagging skin.

So, what’s the solution to sagging skin? What’s the best skin care for sagggin skin problems? Is there a solution?

The good news is that you can find help for sagging skin problems. There is some excellent skin care scientists around and they have found a solution to the loss of collagen and elastin in our skin as we age, and formed this into a unique skin care product.

Now you may be thinking if it’s just a matter of replacing the collagen and elastin, why not just buy a cream that has collagen and elastin in it? There’s plenty of face creams on the shelves that contain collagen and elastin.

Problem is, they don’t result in an increase in the collagen and elastin in your skin, because the molecules of collagen and elastin are quite large, and can’t penetrate our skin. So if we put the face cream on the surface of our skin the collagen and elastin stay on the surface of our skin until you wipe it off.

But some extremely talented skin care scientists have found a way to stimulate the skin to produce more of it’s own collagen and elastin. And trials have shown that this new product has significant benefits to the skin, resulting in higher levels of collagen and elastin, production of more skin cells, better skin health and improvements in skin firmness and elasticity. And the results can be found in a relatively short period of time.

So be encouraged, you can get help for sagging skin problems. The best skin care for sagging skin now contains this revolutionary product, and users are reporting fantastic results. Sagging skin will benefit greatly from an increase in collagen and elastin supplies, and this new skin care product will do it.

Will you find this new ingredient in the skin care products in your local store that advertise help for sagging skin? No, they’re probably just another cream containing collagen and elastin. If yopu’ve used them you have probably found they do very little, now you know why.

If you’re looking to use products containing this new ingredient that provides help for sagging skin you need to look beyond the big brand skin care companies. There is one small niche skincare company that uses this ingredient.

It’s an extremely expensive ingredient, but this small company can afford to use it because it doesn’t spend up big on TV advertising, unlike the big brands. So it can afford to use more expensive ingredients and compete on price at the same time.

And to allow it’s customers to find out just how good these new products are it offers a no questions asked money back guarantee so you can try it without any risk.

Try getting a guarantee like that from one of the big brands of skin care products.

So if you’re looking for some serious help with sagging skin problems there is a solution, and you can try it risk free.
